Recommended Leather : 1.2mm - 2mm Veg Tan Leather
(I used 1.2mm (3oz) Badalassi Peublo Leather for the examples)

How To :
Cut parts needed, 

sand and clean up the edges, prior to stitching


Skive the bottom and sides of the Tee shaped parts so they sit flater
Sandwich and glue items together, then stitch using ‘saddle stitch’ for best results.
